Among the 60 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical and fire-rescue service during the period July 7-14 were the following:
55 Wade Avenue, 6:53 p.m. July 10. Crews responded to the report of a injured person on the campus of Spring Grove State Hospital and transported one seriously injured person to a local hospital.
Interstate 695 at Wilkens Avenue, 11:33 p.m. July 9. Crews responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with injury on the Baltimore Beltway and transported one person with non-life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.
Interstate 95 between I-195 and I-895, 1:51 p.m. July 8. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a person having a seizure on the interstate in the Halethorpe area and transported one person to a local hospital.
North Rolling Road at Chesworth Road, 1:12 p.m. July 8. Crews from the Arbutus and Pikesville volunteer stations and Halethorpe, Westview and Woodlawn career stations responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with need for rescue in Westview Park. One seriously injured person rescued from the vehicle and taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Ryerson Circle, 3100 block, 11:37 a.m. July 8. Crews from the Arbutus and English Consul volunteer stations and Woodlawn career station responded to the report of a person having trouble breathing in Lansdowne. One seriously ill person taken to a local hospital
