Arbutus crime log

The following is compiled from local police reports.

Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Scotia Road, 4400 block: 9 a.m. May 3. Red generator reported stolen from a shed.

Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block: May 4, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Tablet and Nintendo Switch stolen from residence.

Washington Blvd., 3700 block: 3 a.m., May 5. A man armed with a gun entered a Wawa and demanded money from the safe. After getting the cash, he fled on foot.

Scotia Road, 4400 block: 5 p.m. May 6. Green and black generator reported stolen from a shed in late April.

First Ave., 300 block: 9 p.m. May 6. Trampoline in a yard was cut.

Council Street, 5500 block: 3 a.m. May 7. Motorcycle stolen from a backyard after locking chain was cut.

Washington Blvd., 3500 block: 3:10 a.m. May 7. An armed man attempted to rob a Royal Farms but left when employees couldn’t open a safe.

Century Ave., 3700 block: 1:35 p.m. Man reported three unknown persons in his house and a burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene and found no suspects or taken property.

Bero Road, 3200 block: 10:55 p.m. May 8. Two men approached a victim from behind, one of them pulled a handgun and demanded money.

Babybird Court, Unit block: 11:20 p.m. May 8. Two men, one armed with a gun, attempted to rob a man but when man did not comply the assailants fled.
