Christmas Day break-in attempt in Arbutus fails [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from local police reports.

Highridge Street, 5400 block, between 2 and 6:10 p.m. Dec. 25. Attempt to break into residence failed.

Bero Road, 3000 block,  10:50 a.m. Dec. 23. Resident confronted two young men attempting to break into his residence. The two ran away.

Virginia Avenue, 2500 block, between 9:15 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. Dec. 23. Back window of residence broken so three men, all wearing dark clothing, could enter a house. Two XBox video games were stolen.

Rambo Court, 800 block, 12:30 a.m. Dec. 22. Man of no fixed address found in a vacant house. The man was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.

Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 21. Metal gate on bedroom window unlatched and screen pried open to gain entry at residence. Children's clothing stolen.

Washington Boulevard, 4100 block, between 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8 a.m. Dec. 21. Catalytic converters cut off several cars parked in lot of Vehicles for Change.

Bero Road, 2900 block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 20. Man sleeping at residence woke to find intruder in hallway. Intruder punched man in the face then ran away.
