The Church of the Ascension calls believers to a 4 p.m. Christmas pageant; a 7:30 p.m. family celebration; and a 9:30 p.m. youth concert that precedes the 10 p.m. Mass, at 4600 Poplar Ave.
Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Ave., hosts informal worship at 4 p.m.; a 7 p.m. family hour; and a 10:30 p.m. candlelight service.

Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church's Christmas Vigil Masses take lyrical journeys to Bethlehem, at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and midnight, 4414 Wilkens Ave.
Special guest musicians tune in to Jesus' arrival in Lansdowne Christian Church, 101 Clyde Ave., at 7 p.m. Soft candlelight adds to the glow surrounding the manger. Call 410-242-4821.
St. Clement Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Ave., offers English Masses at 4 p.m. and at 6 p.m. A Spanish Mass will begin at 11 p.m. All will be bathed in candlelight.
Holy Communion in candle glow takes place in St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 901 Courtney Road, at 8 p.m. and at 10 p.m. Lyrical accolades will resound.
