The Hanover Street Bridge in Baltimore is closed for repair work Saturday, one of several weekend road closures in the city that could cause traffic congestion for drivers.
The bridge will be shut down between Waterview Avenue and Cromwell Street until about 8 p.m., and detours will be set up for drivers, the city department of transportation said.
The two running lanes on the north side of Fayette Street from Howard to Eutaw Streets will also close from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday. The two eastern-most lanes of Eutaw Street between Fayette and Lexington streets will shut down for a building inspection, and while two-way traffic will be maintained, it is expected to be slow.
Crane lift operations will close Penn Street from Lombard to Pratt streets Saturday until noon and Druid Hill Drive from McMechen to Wilson streets Sunday from 6 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Two lanes of St. Paul Street from Madison Street to Mount Vernon Place will also close until 6 p.m. Saturday.
