Two riders on a dirt bike were injured Monday when thrown off the bike and one was hit by a car just south of Druid Hill Park, Baltimore police said.

The dirt bike had been eastbound on Auchentoroly Terrace around 12:15 p.m., went through the stop sign on Fulton Avenue and drove into traffic, police said.

Both riders were ejected from the bike, and one was struck by a car traveling on Fulton, police said. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment, and the driver of the car was not injured, police said.

The riders were hospitalized Monday, but are expecited to survive, according to Baltimore police spokesman Det. Jeremy Silbert. The bike was reported stolen before the crash, Silbert said.
