Police report three city shootings Saturday

Three people were shot and wounded in Baltimore on Saturday in different parts of the city, according to city police.

The latest shooting occurred about 2 p.m. in the 4100 block of Brehms Lane, in the Belair-Edison neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore. Police said a 19-year-old man was shot in the left arm and walked into a nearby hospital.

Police said the victim told detectives he had been walking when three men, one armed with a handgun, and began firing at him. No arrests have been made.

Authorities had few details about the two other shootings. Police said a man was shot in the thigh and chest about 3:45 a.m. in the 4500 block of Northwood Drive, in North Baltimore. And about 1:30 a.m., a man was shot in the back at North Kresson and East Fayette streets.

Police said on Sunday they had made no arrests in either of these two shootings.
