Unemployment resources to be showcased at open house Aug. 14

Unemployed and underemployed individuals are invited to an open house on Aug. 14 to learn about job search resources available at Career Connections in Baltimore.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore will host the event from 5 to 8 p.m. at the St. Ambrose Center at 3445 Park Heights Ave.

Career Connections is a drop-in employment resource center where individuals can receive an academic and skills assessment, life and employability training and lessons on resume writing and interview attire. The center also provides access to computers, phones, printers, fax and copy machines.

Light refreshments will be served.
