A man was found fatally shot in an industrial area of East Baltimore Saturday afternoon, one of several shootings that happened in the city over the last two days.
The shooting happened around 2:18 p.m. in the 4100 block of E. Monument St., near a railroad overpass, police said. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was found shot in the head, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100.
Two other men were shot in separate incidents in Baltimore late Friday night and Saturday morning, though both were expected to survive their injuries. Three others were also shot earlier Friday evening.
Around 10:45 p.m. Friday, an 18-year-old man was found shot in the back in the 6000 block of Alta Ave. in the Glenham-Belhar neighborhood in Northeast Baltimore. Police believe he was inside of a car when he was shot by an unknown suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Northeast District detectives at 410-396-2444.
Around 5:20 a.m. Saturday, a man walked into a Baltimore hospital with a multiple gunshot wounds, including to his chest. Police believe he was involved in a dispute with the suspect who shot him and determined that the shooting took place in the first block of Washburn Ave. in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Baltimore. Police also on Saturday identified a man who was fatally stabbed in the 4100 block of Chatham Road on Thursday evening. He is Jerome Marlowe, 73, and lived in the block where he was stabbed.
