Two men and a woman were injured after separate shootings in Baltimore City Saturday morning, police said.
Officers responded to a West Baltimore hospital at 1:54 a.m. to find a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his torso, according to police.
The victim told detectives he was in the 5100 block of Oaklawn Road when he heard shots and realized he had been struck by a bullet, police said.
City police are also investigating a shooting that occurred in the 600 block of N. Carrollton Ave. just before 6 a.m.
Officers found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his shoulder, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
An adult woman was also believed to have been shot Saturday morning in the 1300 block of N. Carey Street, police said. She was taken to a hospital, where it was determined that she had not, in fact, been shot, police said on Sunday.
Detectives are looking for witnesses to the incidents and anyone with information is asked to contact police.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
