Victims identified in fatal quadruple shooting near UMB Tuesday

Baltimore Police identify three people shot dead near UMB on Tuesday.

Baltimore Police have identified the three people who were shot dead near the University of Maryland, Baltimore on Tuesday night.

The victims are identified as: Gerald Thompson, 34, of the 900 block of W. Fayette Street in Poppleton; Jacqueline Parker, 53, of the 1000 block of W. Baltimore Street in Poppleton; and Lamont Randall, 39, of the 2300 block of Aiken Street in East Baltimore Midway.

A fourth person also was shot in the buttock, according to police.

Police have said that two vans pulled over in the 900 block of W. Fayette Street, a few blocks east of the university campus, at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Three or four gunmen emerged from the vans and opened fire.

Police have not offered further details of the shooting but have said it was a "targeted incident."

No students were involved and police don't think there is any connection with the university.

Police also released the identities of three other people who were killed in Baltimore on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Eric Renard Forrester, 41, of the 300 block of N. Grantley Street in Allendale, was killed Tuesday in the 300 block of N. Hilton Street in Allendale.

Antonio Anderson Jr., 25, of the 1500 block of Sherwood Avenue in Loch Raven, wsas killed Tuesday in the same block where he lived.

Gary Jackson, 21, of the 3700 block of Chesterfield Avenue in Belair-Edison, was killed Wednesday in the 1700 block of W. Lanvale Street in Harlem Park.
