Man charged as an accessory to Mount Vernon triple shooting

Baltimore police have charged a man as an accessory to a shooting that wounded three people outside a Mount Vernon hookah bar Monday.

Antoine Jordan, 26, was charged as an accessory after the fact to the shooting and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail. Police said the incident began at the Casablanca Hookah Bar in the 800 block of Guilford Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. when three men "snuck into" the establishment and were asked to leave when no one could provide identification. One of the men in the group went to his car and got a handgun before returning and opening fire.

Two bouncers were injured, one an off-duty correctional officer shot in the leg and one an off duty Morgan State University police officer who had a gunshot graze wound on his leg, police said. A third man was found inside with a graze wound to his leg, and all the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police found four shell casings outside Casablanca and blood on the sidewalk and inside the bar. No attorney was listed for Jordan in court records and details on his alleged involvement in the shooting were not immediately available.
