Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with sexually abusing two other children at the city-run Carroll F. Cook recreation center in Baltimore earlier this month.
The 16-year-old was charged as a juvenile and his identity was not released. Police said he was charged with child abuse, assault and second and third-degree sex offenses stemming from an incident on August 6 at the recreation center. The boy was arrested on July 14.
One of the victims is a six-year-old, but police did not otherwise have more information on their ages or genders. Police did not elaborate on the nature of the incident.
City Parks and Recreations officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The recreation center is at 5061 East Eager Street in the Armistead Gardens neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore.
