Man dead in Saturday night accident on Bel Air Road

One man is dead after a serious accident on Bel Air Road, and homicide detectives are investigating an East Baltimore shooting, according to police.

Police responded to the accident in the 5400 block of Bel Air Road shortly before 9 p.m., which they said involved two motorcyclists and an SUV. As of 9:30 p.m., there was one reported fatality, according to police spokeswoman Det. Angela Carter-Watson. The department's accident investigation unit is investigating.

Police responded to the 4500 block of Marble Hill Road at around 7:30 p.m., where they found an adult male shot, Carter-Watson said. The man has not been pronounced dead, but homicide detectives are investigating, she said.
