A man died after being shot in the head in Brooklyn early Saturday, less than 12 hours after a dead man was found in an alley less than a block away, police said.
Investigators do not think the two deaths are not related, said Det. Kevin Brown, a spokesman for the Baltimore City Police Department.
The first man was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in a rear alley off of the 700 block of E. Patapsco Ave. Police labeled the death "suspicious" but have not released word yet on "signs of trauma or suspected foul play," Brown said.
The second man died at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday after being shot in the head in the 700 block of E. Pontiac Ave., he said.
Homicide detectives were assigned to investigate both deaths, he said.
