14-year-old pedestrian struck by vehicle while crossing Harford Road

A 14-year-old girl was injured when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Harford Road near Harford Heights Elementary School on the northeast side of Baltimore Monday night, police said.

Police said she had jaywalked across one lane of traffic in the 2100 block and was hit by an oncoming vehicle while continuing to cross at about 6:20 p.m. The vehicle that hit her stayed at the scene, police said.

The teenager was taken to a hospital, where she was listed as stable in good condition, police said.
