One man was killed and two others injured in separate shootings just a few blocks and hours apart on Reisterstown Road in Northwest Baltimore, police said.
Two men were shot inside of a business in the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, with one of them pronounced dead at a hospital 45 minutes later and the other rushed to surgery. Police said a gunman came through the door of the business, which was not named, and shot at the two men with a handgun before fleeing the scene. The man who was killed has not yet been publicly identified, while the victim who was injured is said to be stable.
Anyone with information about the fatal shooting is asked to call homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
At about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, a man was sitting inside of a car parked in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road when two male suspects approached him and shot him in his left arm and stomach, police said. The victim was initially expected to survive. Anyone with information about that shooting is asked to call district detectives at 410-396-2466.
