Man found fatally shot in truck in Mount Winans

A 36-year-old man was shot while driving Tuesday night in South Baltimore

A man was found fatally shot inside of a pickup truck on Wednesday afternoon in South Baltimore, police said.

Police said they were called to the 2400 block of S. Paca St., in the Mount Winans neighborhood, at about 12:45 p.m. and found the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The area where the victim was found is a residential neighborhood that borders railroad tracks and industrial buildings. Police released no additional information about the circumstances of shooting, and did not release the victim's name pending notification of next of kin.

On Tuesday night, a 36-year-old man was shot in his hand, elbow and shoulder while driving Tuesday night in Curtis Bay, police said.

Someone opened fire on the man, police said, while he was driving on the 1600 block of Hazel St. Officers were called about 10:45 p.m. to the shooting.

The man was hospitalized in stable condition.

Another 18-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in the 1500 block of N. Ellamont St., in the Rosemont neighborhood of southwest Baltimore, around 3:13 p.m. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
