Two firefighters, civilian injured in Curtis Bay house fire, officials say

Two firefighters and a civilian were injured at a house fire in South Baltimore on Monday, according to city fire officials.

Chief Roman Clark, a fire department spokesman, said the non-life-threatening injuries occurred at a fire at a vacant home in the 4000 block of Fairhaven Ave., in the city’s Curtis Bay neighborhood.

Firefighters were called to the scene about 12:05 p.m., and the fire was placed under control about 1:50 p.m., Clark said.

Neither the civilian, a man, nor the firefighters were identified. They were all transported to local hospitals for treatment, Clark said.
