A truck driver was killed on Interstate 95 on Thursday morning after he got out of his truck and was struck by a car, the Maryland Transportation Authority said.
The man has not yet been identified. Sgt. Jonathan Green, an MdTA spokesman, said the man's truck had broken down just south of the Key Highway exit and that the man was struck after he got out of the truck about 11:20 a.m.
Green said the car that struck the man was located, but it was not immediately known whether the car remained at the scene after the crash.
