A body was located in the Baltimore Harbor near Canton on Wednesday evening, according to city police.
About 6:43 p.m., a police marine unit was dispatched to the water near the intersection of Boston and Leakin streets for reports of a body.
Police are investigating the discovery as a suspicious death, said Detective Nicole Monroe, a police spokeswoman.
A cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, and the person has not been identified.
