'Beautiful baby girl' found wandering East Baltimore reunited with mother, police say

Baltimore police said a baby girl who was found wandering in East Baltimore has been reunited with her family.

Police said officers found the "beautiful baby girl" wandering at the intersection of East 20th and Wolfe streets before 7 a.m. Monday. Around 10 a.m., police said the girl had been reunited with her mother.

Police initially asked for the public's help in finding the parents, said officers "exhausted every means of attempting to locate her parents."

The child was taken to an area hospital as a precaution, police said.
