Baltimore City firefighters were on the scene of a three-story apartment fire in the 1600 block of Calhoun Street early Sunday, according to a fire department report.
Firefighters responded at 4:30 a.m., with fire reported on the second floor. Some residents were evacuated and others were sheltered in place, according to the release.
As of Sunday morning, officials said there was one injured civilian and one injured firefighter, though additional details were not yet available. The fire was deemed under control at 6:10 a.m.
The a cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to the report.
