Four people were arrested Thursday afternoon inside a Southeast Baltimore health facility while protesting national health care reform bills, police said.

"They were protesting as individuals and had no permit," said Agent Donny Moses, a Baltimore police spokesman.

The four drew a large crowd and there was "a lot of yelling," Moses said.

About 1 p.m., the two men and two women were protesting outside Care First Health Center at the Canton Crossing Tower, in the 1500 block of S. Clinton St., when they entered the lobby and were stopped by a security officer who warned them they were trespassing on private property.

Police asked, then ordered them to leave, and all four were arrested and charged with trespassing and failure to obey a lawful police order when they did not, Moses said.
