One man was fatally shot and another person was stabbed in Curtis Bay on Friday night, a Baltimore police spokeswoman said. A fight broke out about 10:20 p.m. near a playground in the 1600 block of Filbert St. and a person was stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon, said spokeswoman Officer Nicole Monroe. People fled the area, including one man who was shot while running through an alleyway, she said. The shooting victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Monroe said. No further details were available.
