The usual roaring crowd of dirt bikes and spectators at Druid Hill Park were replaced for the second straight Sunday on Aug. 23 with police cruisers and a sea of traffic cones. But the sounds of engines could be heard in the distance, and a group of women said they'd just gone elsewhere to ride, waiting for police to leave until they reclaim their territory.
