Longtime Del. Sandy Rosenberg is an 81-game-a-year season ticket holder and a frequent participant in Orioles fantasy camps. Some of his most vivid memories revolve around Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson, whom he got to know at some of those camps. "You could walk up to Brooks and said 'I idolized you as a kid' and he would react so genuinely as if you were the first person who ever said that to him, and that's the kind of person he is," said Rosenberg, a Baltimore Democrat. "He just epitomized the ball club and the love of the game for members of my generation." "Brooks just epitomizes the Baltimore ball player in that he's still the guy next door even though he's one of the greatest third basemen of all time," he said.
