The bill also would create a legislative oversight committee of delegates and senators to monitor state police procurement of new medevac helicopters and safety improvements to the state's emergency medical system.
Sponsored by Del. Galen R. Clagett, a Frederick Democrat, the measure is part of several pieces of legislation this session designed to increase oversight of the state's medevac and EMS network.
