Funeral services for Marine Corps Lance Cpl. James W. Higgins Jr. of Thurmont, who was killed last week in Iraq, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lynfield Event Complex, 10142 Hansonville Road in Frederick.
Viewings are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Stauffer Funeral Home in Thurmont. He will be buried at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
