Kathryn Ledwell

Kathryn Ledwell, 22, of Baltimore had just finished the race when she heard a boom, turned and saw people screaming and running in different directions. Then the second explosion occurred, not too much farther down the Boston Marathon course, and Ledwell, a Johns Hopkins University senior, knew something was wrong. "Honestly, the fact that I just completed a marathon was immediately gone from my mind. I didn't even think about it," Ledwell said.
