Left to right, Marie Martin, Jim Valliant(cq), Lawrence Pratt and Ann Borders, members of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100619050000" title="St. Michaels" href="/topic/us/maryland/talbot-county/st.-michaels-PLGEO100100619050000.topic">St. Michaels</a> Preservation Coalition.  The group has gathered enough signatures to get a ballot referendum on the development of 250 homes at the Miles Point property, located at the northern boundary of the town.  But the town clerk says the zoning, which was approved by the town council, is not eligible for a refendum.
