A passenger was seriously injured in a car crash Saturday on Mountain Road in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County police said.

Police said a Lincoln Town Car was turning into a business about 11 p.m. near Brookfield Road when it was struck by a Nissan pickup truck traveling east on Mountain Road. Police believe the driver of Lincoln — Sherry Lashawn Parks, 28, of Glen Burnie — was at fault and that alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The Lincoln's passenger, Aaron Lee Franklin Colbert, 25, was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries. Colbert was listed in fair condition Sunday. The drivers of both vehicles were not hurt in the crash, police said.
