The Odenton Heritage Society is hosting a History Detective Day Sunday, Jan. 5, at the society building at 1367 Odenton Road.
Visitors are invited to bring historical documents, family Bible or photograph to copy, or an object to donate. Local historians and curators will be on hand to help identify and research items and record information and stories for the society's files. Hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors can also explore the 1912 Old Masonic Hall and view museum displays about railroads, the Civil War, military history, and local businesses. Admission is free. For more information, go to odentonheritage.org.
