A pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run incident in Brooklyn Park early Sunday morning, Anne Arundel County Police said.

About 2 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to assist a man whose right arm had been struck by a passing vehicle, according to Lt. Richard Duvall. He was walking along Bell Grove Road at near the Interstate 895 overpass.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported via ambulance to the University of Maryland Hospital, Duvall said.

Duvall said that the vehicle is believed to be a burgundy Dodge Charger with the passenger side mirror missing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police, Duvall said.
