Anne Arundel County police on Friday arrested five people suspected in a Glen Burnie marijuana growing operation, the department said in a news release Sunday.
Police busted the grow in the 100 block of Point Pleasant Rd. and found 15 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1,000; nearly 400 grams of marijuana; drug dealing paraphernalia including a scale and packaging material; and $650 in cash, the release said.
Frank Harper, 26; Joseph Clark, 28; Contessa Melton, 28; George Melton, 25; and Pamela Carder, 34, all of Glen Burnie, have been charged with drug manufacturing, possession and possession with intent to distribute, and possession of paraphernalia.
The case against the suspects lists no legal representation for any of the five charged.
