Gambrills men arrested after shooting Hanover man's home, cars

Two Gambrills men were arrested and charged with attempted murder and other charges after shooting a barrage of bullets into a Hanover man's home and cars while he stood in his driveway Monday morning, Anne Arundel County police said.

Police identified the two suspects as Kingsley Anthony McLean, 20, of the 900 block of Autumn Valley Ln., and Kendall Alonzo Govan, 24, of the 2400 block of Cheyenne Dr.

The two drove past the victim's home in the 1400 block of Gesna Dr., and fired multiple shots into his home and several vehicles while he was with his family around 10:20 a.m., police said. A victim called police and followed their car as it drove away. An Anne Arundel County Sheriff's deputy found the cars in the 7400 block of Windstream Circle in Hanover. The two suspects were found and arrested in woods near the corner of Arundel Mills Boulevard and Dorsey Road Extension, police said.

Both weapons were recovered, and no one was injured, police said.

McLean and Govan both face charges of attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault and handgun use in commission of a felony, among other related charges, police said.
