Nine people face prostitution charges following a Nov. 15 Internet sting in which undercover detectives posed as escorts on a website, Anne Arundel County Police said.
Detectives received calls and text messages from 69 different phone numbers during the operation, according to police. Some of the correspondence involved attempts to discuss prices and schedule appointments.
Police are reviewing the phone numbers in an attempt to identify those who contacted the undercover detectives.
