Annapolis Center

Jewelry sale The center sponsors a jewelry sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 6-7. A bake sale will be held at the same time Wednesday. Proceeds benefit the center.

'War Horse' The center's trip committee is accepting reservations to see the play on Feb. 8 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. The ticket price of $147 includes transportation and lunch at George's in the Wyndham Peabody Hotel on Mount Vernon Place. The play tells the story of a horse who is sold to the cavalry and shipped from England to France during World War I.

European river cruise The center's trip committee is accepting reservations for a cruise next summer on the Danube. The Aug. 2-13 trip includes visits to Prague, Budapest and Vienna. The price depends on the cabin. For information, stop at the Trip Desk. Fliers about this trip and others planned for 2014 are available.

Arnold Center

Fall classes The Arnold Senior Center offers more than 50 classes for the fall session, including exercise, art and crafts, history, foreign languages, music, and continuing education. Classes include two new computer classes, Computer Awareness from 10 a.m. to noon Thursdays and Windows 7 Basic from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays. Registration and fees are required.
