Free sessions on annual enrollment for the Medicare Part D prescription program will be held at the county's senior activity centers through Oct. 13.

The approximately hour-long sessions take place:

Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center, 202 Hammonds Lane, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesday. (This session will be conducted in Korean.)

•Pasadena Senior Activity Center, 4103 Mountain Road, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.

•Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center, 202 Hammonds Lane, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Oct. 3.

•O'Malley Senior Activity Center, 1275 Odenton Road, Odenton, 10:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Oct. 4.

•South County Senior Activity Center, 27 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Oct. 12.

•Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 13.

Staff from the Senior Health Insurance Program, (SHIP), at the county Department of Aging and Disabilities, will discuss the various aspects of the program. Information: 410-222-4464.

Flea market

Donations are needed for the Annapolis Senior Activity Center's annual flea market being held Oct. 26-27 at the center, 119 South Villa Ave. Donations can be dropped off at the center's front desk 8 a.m.-4:40 p.m. Mondays-Fridays through Oct. 19. Caregiver support group

The National Family Caregivers Support Program of the AAC Department of Aging and Disabilities will host a family support group meeting from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Heritage Office Complex, 2666 Riva Road in Annapolis. A four-week workshop, "Moving through Grief," will be held at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 S. Villa Ave., from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays through Oct. 4. Workshop leaders Marie Rogers, Margo Carey and Margaret Taylor will teach seniors healing tools to cope with the loss of loved ones. Annapolis Senior Activity Center members can sign up for a trip Oct. 6 to Parade Land and Jubilee in the Shenandoah Valley, and to the Allenberry Dinner Theater in Boiling Springs, Pa., on Oct. 19. The Parade Land trip features a fantasy land of floats and props used in presidential inaugurations, Rose Bowl parades and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parades. The tour will stop for lunch at the Johnny Appleseed Restaurant. The cost of the trip is $85. At the Allenberry Dinner Theater, visitors will see the musical "I Do, I Do" and have a buffet-style meal at the Fairfield Inn. Cost is $78. Information: 410-222-1818.
