Local educator Tim Merritt presents a seminar "Schoolhouse and Cyberbullying: What Can a Parent Do?" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road in Pasadena. This 60-minute presentation on the signs of bullying — either a bullied child or a child who is a bully — is for parents and adults only and is presented by the church's Education Ministry Team. Goals of the seminar are to define bullying and cyberbullying, present characteristics of bullies and victims, and provide parents with information about how they can support their child in dealing with a bullying or cyberbullying situation. Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park, will host a special worship service honoring mothers at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 13. Included in the service will be the Voices Praise Team, the Johnson Male Chorus and a liturgical dance tribute to Mother. The Rev. James A.
