Holy Week services
•Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie, will host the following services:
Passion/Palm Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. March 24.
Maundy Thursday service of Holy Communion at 7:30 p.m. March 28.
Good Friday Tenebrae service at 7:30 p.m. March 29.
Easter Sunday service of Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m. March 31. There will also be an Easter egg decorating event for children from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, March 31. In addition, children can enjoy games, crafts and snacks.
•St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1110 St. Stephen's Church Road in Crownsville, will host the following services:
Holy Eucharist with Liturgy of the Palms and the Passion according to St. Mark, 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Palm Sunday, March 24.
Prayer, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, March 25.
Prayer, 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.
Holy Eucharist, 10 a.m., and prayer, 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.
Prayer, 10 a.m., and Agape Meal and Holy Eucharist, 6 p.m. Maundy Thursday, March 28.
Book of Common Prayer Service, Stations of the Cross and Quiet Prayer, noon Good Friday, March 29.
Holy Eucharist, 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31.
•Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church presents "The Cup" at 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday, March 28-29 at the church, 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park. Play depicts the struggle between good and evil as Jesus accepts "The Cup" and journeys to Calvary to win our salvation. Admission is free, donations accepted. Quarter-pound, chocolate-covered Easter eggs made by members of Centenary United Methodist Church in Shady Side are for sale. Orders may be placed by calling 410-867-9567. They will also be available at the Shady Side Market, Renno's Market, Christopher's in Churchton, and Grauel's Office Supply.
