Art walk More than 20 galleries in downtown Annapolis will participate in the 23rd annual Annapolis Art Walk, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live music, light refreshments, new exhibits and artists demonstrating skills in various media. Yellow balloons and banners are posted at participating galleries, and maps and events listings will be available at each gallery. Scout day The National Electronics Museum's Scout Day will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 14 at 1745 West Nursery Road in Linthicum. Event is open to Cub, Webelos and Boy Scouts. Wine festival The Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of beer and wine and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment includes performances by Dublin5, the Truth Project, Appaloosa and others. Proceeds benefit the Wellness House, an organization providing support for those living with cancer.
