Open house The Junior League of Annapolis will host its annual New Member Open House from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Factors Row in downtown Annapolis. Wine festival The Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of beer and wine and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment includes performances by Dublin5, the Truth Project, Appaloosa and others. Proceeds benefit the Wellness House, an organization providing support for those living with cancer.
