The League of Women Voters will help residents register to vote on National Voter Registration Day this Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Westfield Annapolis Mall. League members will be in the food court from noon to 8 p.m. to assist in the registration process. The Annapolis Police Department Law Enforcement Explorer Post 199 is accepting applications this month. The program is for those who have completed eighth grade and are 14 to 20 years old. It offers information on career activities. Meetings are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at police headquarters, 199 Taylor Ave. in Annapolis. The Baltimore Washington Medical Center will hold a free health fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 5 in the food court at Arundel Mills. Health screenings including blood pressure, glucose and bone density, and educational exhibits on mental health, aging and wound healing will be offered. Bowie Community Theatre presents this drama Sept. 28-Oct. 13 at the Bowie Playhouse, 16500 White Marsh Park Drive in Bowie. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. AACC will hold auditions Oct. 1-4 for its coming production of Barbara Robinson's "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Auditions will consist of a short musical audition followed by cold readings from the script. All are welcome to audition for the roles of children ages 6-16, college students and adults. Auditions, rehearsals and performances will take place in the Robert Kauffman Theatre, Pascal Center for the Performing Arts, 101 College Parkway in Arnold.
