Three people were charged in connection with an armed robbery Thursday of a cab driver in the parking lot of Arundel Mills mall, Anne Arundel County police said.
Police said that about 9 p.m., an Associated Cab Co. driver was in his cab when two men with handguns demanded his money, which he gave them. The men met up with a third person and they all ran toward the nearby Residence Inn, according to police. Officers went to the back of the hotel, where they arrested three teenagers from Severn and charged them with armed robbery and related counts.
The three charged are Lorenzo Lamar Jones, 18, of the 7800 block of Huguenot Court; Deshawn Manigault, 18 ,of the 1800 block of Oriole Court; and a 15-year-old boy charged as a juvenile, police said.

It is ironic that many of the promises of jobs and ammenities in exchange for local 'support' of slots have gone to the people in the area where these 'alleged' thieves came from. With slots you will get 2 types of gambling for the price of one; you risk your money with the slots, but you risk both your money and your life going to Arundel Mills.
