Annapolis police are investigating a series of indecent exposure incidents they say have occurred over the past three months at residences in the Eastport area.

Six cases have been reported — two in March, two in April and two in May, police said.

Three of the incidents, one on March 3 and the two in April, occurred in the unit block of Bricin Street. In the March incident, a woman heard tapping on the sliding glass door of her ground floor apartment, police said. When she looked out she saw a man exposing himself. The same woman reported the two similar incidents in April, police said.

Other, similar incidents occurred March 11 and May 17 in the 1200 block of Hollyday Court; and May 22 in the 1200 block of Gemini Drive.

Police said the suspect may be the same person in all incidents; some of the victims have described him as a light skinned black male, 5'10" to 6'0", thin build, usually wearing dark clothing with something covering all or part of his face.

Residents may report suspicious activity by calling 410-268-4141; anyone with specific information on these incidents may call Det. Thomas Pyles or Det. Jon-Paul Hipsky at 410-268-9000 or email tnpyles@annapolis.gov or jphipsky@annapolis.gov.
