No serious injuries in Annapolis tour bus crash, police say

No serious injuries were reported following a crash involving a tour bus and two passenger vehicles Sunday afternoon in Annapolis.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on a ramp from westbound Route 50 to Interstate 97, Maryland State Police said. The drivers from each vehicle as well as a bus passenger were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

The Woodlawn Motor Coach bus was carrying 30 people.

The roadway was closed for more than an hour, and the cause of the accident was under investigation Sunday evening, police said.

Also Sunday, a tractor trailer caught fire on the eastbound span of the Bay Bridge, forcing travelers to share the northern span with westbound travelers for hours.
