It's safe to swim and wade in Weems Creek in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County health officials said Thursday.
Water quality tests showed the creek meets water quality guidelines for bacteria.
The creek had been off-limits from the headwaters to Rowe Boulevard since May 15, when 120,000 gallons of sewage spilled into the creek from a broken pipe on Jennifer Road.
Water testing results from Weems Creek are posted online at www.aahealth.org.
Bacteria tests from nearly 100 beaches throughout the county also are posted online between Memorial day and Labor day.
