Police report a pair of burglaries in Annapolis

Annapolis police are investigating a pair of burglaries that occurred over two nights in the city this week.

On Tuesday, between 8:30 and 11:15 p.m. in the 900 block of President Street, a green wallet was stolen from an apartment.  An exterior window screen was ripped and the window broken to gain entry into the home, police said. Credit cards and about $80 cash was taken, according to the police report.

Then, sometime between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, Bella Pizzeria in the 600 block of Taylor Avenue had its front glass door shattered. In this case, the cash register was taken.
