Glen Burnie, Severna Park net first wins

Irelynn Dunn recorded seven assists and six aces and led Glen Burnie to its first win of the year with a four-set victory over North County, 25-19, 10-25, 25-23, 25-18. Sylvia Frye had eight aces and four kills and Jess Bradley had four aces and a block for Glen Burnie (1-5). Kierstan Workley had eight digs and Tamera Parker contributed four aces and five digs for North County (1-4).

SEVERNA PARK 3, NOTRE DAME PREP 0: Kelly Kazmarek had 31 assists for the Falcons in their win over the Blazers, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19. Skyler Sale and Chloe Campbell added seven kills apiece for Severna Park (1-4).

SOUTH RIVER 3, OLD MILL 0: Emily Speciale had a team-high 20 assists and went 11 for 11 serving to lead the Sehawks past Old Mil, 25-13, 25-12, 25-7. Savanah Doctor went 11 for 12 serving with an ace and two kills and Erin Canter had seven kills. Linda Redd had a block, two aces and two digs and Tyler Lott added two blocks and two digs for Old Mill (0-4).

SOUTHERN 3, ANNAPOLIS 0: Raven Pratt led the Bulldogs with 11 kills, five aces and three blocks in their 25-18, 25-8, 25-22 sweep of the Panthers. Grace Howl chipped in with six kills and five aces. Jessica Chaney provided 19 assists, six digs and three aces and Alex Gregoire produced six digs and three aces for Southern (2-2). Jewel Crumbley had four digs and three kills and Jazmyne Matthews contributed four blocks for Annapolis (1-4).

KEY 3, OLDFIELDS 0: Defne Aybar had a team-leading nine aces and three kills, Sloane Butler added eight digs and three kills and Olivia Stone contributed six digs, three aces and three assists as the Obezags swept the Dragons, 25-10, 25-9, 25-21 on Wednesday. Key is now 4-4.
